Application Deadlines

Fall semester: March 1st
Spring semester: September 1st

If we receive information later than this, we cannot assure that the government paperwork necessary for a visa will be done in time. Students entering in 2011-2012 must show as part of the application that they have the equivalent of $8,000 per semester or 16,000 for the academic year during the time that they will be study at the University of Illinois.

Areas of Concentration

The University of Illinois College of Business offers a full spectrum of business courses in the areas of accountancy, finance, business administration and economics. Additional majors/career tracks/areas of specialization include taxation, marketing, industrial distribution management, production, corporate finance, investments, financial markets, insurance and risk management, real estate, developmental economics, labor and personnel relations, and public finance.

Only students from Nanyang University are able to take courses in Accountancy during their time in Illinois.

Dorm Housing $2,100-3,200 students can also choose to find their own, local housing

International Student & Scholars Services (ISSS) $50 one time fee issued to all incoming international students
Health Service Fee (mandatory) $262 use of McKinley Health Clinic on UIUC campus
Health Insurance $206 waived if student shows equivalent proof of coverage
Transportation (mandatory) $48 use of local bus system
Books and classroom materials $500+ variable amount
Krannert & SORF $32 Can be waived once classes begin

 

Language of Instruction

English only. Acceptable TOEFL needed for students coming from non-English-speaking countries. Include a copy of your TOEFL results with application.
